Nice swine build Bash! Hey the window regulator you gave me will work out perfect! It looks like a easy fix now, if I can just get time away from house, yard, and animal projects for a few hours. I know it has probably been about 6 months argh....
I got the part all swaddled and down for a nap in its crib right now. On Sunday I plan to shake it awake and put that baby to work. Thanks again! :cheers:
I have found Kroil (ask google) to be much more effective than PB Blaster. I remember back in the day when it was WD-40 for everything. Then I found out about the wonders of PB Blaster. It kicks ass over WD-40 (and liquid wrench). Imagine my surprise when I found that Kroil works even better...
First thing I pictured was getting outta that pig and smiling with bug filled teeth...
Maybe one of those wind deflectors on the front of the hood would help?
In an ideal world everyone here would use the following list to keep their cruiser running great.
TLC FAQ - 22.5 Owner's Manual Maintenance Schedules - Toyota
For the codes
A = Check and/or adjust as necessary
I = Inspect and correct or replace as necessary
R = Replace, change, or lubricate...
If that thing floated you could bass fish outta it. Bonus points for no windshield!
:cheers:
Losing all that glass will make the rig much lighter.
I saw someone had a post or a signature with a Canadian Spec low weight FJ55. Maybe they were being witty...
