    Chevy express 6.0 vortex motor swap

    Nice. I went out and put a tape measure on my 6.0, 4l80e and t-case and a got about 71" long. that covers the fan to the end of the t-case flange. I bought this project and i'm thinking of going with the 4l80e. For Sale: - 1975 Fj40 Ferd

    I have an fj62 with an lq4 6.0 mated to a 4L80e with Advance Adapters to connect my fj62 split case. I can measure the length if you would like. I read a few threads where the drive shaft for the fj40 would be like 17" long with an lq4-4l80e and advance adapters with a split case. ferd

    When I bought my FJ62 the transmission was shot. And Wholesale Auto was the way to go. Took a while to get it over seas. Then I got hooked on Ih8mud Vortec conversions. I pulled it out and replaced it with a 4l80e and V8. I been keeping it just an case if I run into another Fj62 with a bad...

    I had the same problem on my fj62, No headlights and no blinkers. I searched here for a while. Then I ran into "fusible links". Battery corrosion eat them up. Once I replaced them headlamps and blinker are nice and bright and battery holds a charge. I'm not sure if the FJ60 has fusible links...
