Need Help with Part Number 89456-30010

@Bardiya reviving this thread - I have this sensor on my '00 LC100 with the 2UZ-FE engine. I guess some specs came with it instead of a closed loop system with O2 sensors..?

@Live to Ski we cleaned the throttle body as per your suggestion and things seem to be better - see update here! I'd love to hear your opinion if you have one.

    2000 100LC Stalling Out

Posting an update in case anyone else has this problem in the future: the MAF was tested using a scanner and appeared to be ok, so we started by cleaning the throttle body instead; taking it down to the potentiometers and testing them along the way. The same was done for the throttle valve...

New LC100 Owner Overlanding South America

Thanks, @Live to Ski! I'll start there, sounds easy/cheap enough. Mine stalls (dies at idle) and fails to start (takes 2 or more cranks to get it to fire), plus the exhaust smells a lot of unburnt fuel so I'm not sure it's the same thing but cleaning the MAF sounds simple enough though.

Would any of you have some input on this "new" issue I'm experiencing? See thread here.

    2000 100LC Stalling Out

Hey guys, hoping to restart this thread because I'm having a very similar issue: I purchased the car (2000 LC100 w/ 4.7) about 6 weeks ago and was told a lot of parts were new (spark plugs, fuel filter, one coil, air filter, etc) and that the gas tanks (it's a VXR so it has 2 factory tanks) had...

New LC100 Owner Overlanding South America

Ha! I don't know about being a "pro", but I have a feeling @mckd12 might be... As far as knowledge and parts availability I'd say both are fairly good from what I've seen. Parts that aren't mechanical (e.g. trim pieces or glass) take longer to get because they have to be imported, but...

Yeah, I was thinking 10w30 too. I'll be sure to ask for that on the next oil change. Thanks for the info on the service categories - I didn't know that!

New LC100 Owner Overlanding South America

Thanks, @Bisho that's what I had seen too. I asked around here in Colombia and apparently it's common for older cars to run the weight that's in it right now. I also saw this mentioned in other LC threads for non-USA countries. Since that's what's been used for a little while now I'm hesitant to...

New LC100 Owner Overlanding South America

@mckd12 I'd love to get recommendations for good mechanics all over Colombia since we'll be traveling around. Would you mind giving me that info? Not 100% sure if OEM was used or not, but I'll be sure to ask when I take it back in. My guess is that aftermarket has been used. What are the...

Thanks for the quick reply, @jsloden! It has the 4.7 v8. As far as #4 goes, this last time an OEM seal was used... Let me get her all cleaned up and take a proper picture for you.

New LC100 Owner Overlanding South America

Hi everyone! Wanted to introduce myself since I've been getting lots of useful information from this forum, and have a feeling I'll be getting even more in the near future. My wife, dogs, and I are in Colombia outfitting (drawer system/sleeping platform, rooftop rack and tent) our first Land...

Replacing Rear Quarter Panel Glass Moulding?

Hey gang, I'm sorry for hijacking this thread but it's the closest I've found to the issue I'm having: I recently discovered that water is leaking into my cab through the passenger side quarter panel glass because the top "hinge" appears to have separated from the glass which doesn't allow it to...
