    its the notch about a 1/4 of in inch into the tube? the cruiser we picked up as i found out is a basket case. has all sorts of year parts on it, 60s windshiled etc. when did they start the gas door with the lock on it?

    yeah was looking to run with a hard top with a hatch if possible, im getting a whole back half of an early 60s fj40 with the gate. so if i were to use the gate with the top i would just have to space out the hinge?

    so i have a 75ish fj40 and was looking for a tailgate for it and found one for a early 60s fj40, was wondering if it will fit with a hard top or any other fitment issues? it will come with hinges and latches. thanks for any help
