I have zero clue if the LX570 and the LC200 have an interchangeable roof in regards to foot placements. However a quick Google search at other vendors selling roof racks (Dissent, Prinsu) are selling them as LC200 and LX570 so sounds like they might be. I def would do a bit more research though...
If you are looking for an independent shop then I recommend A&H Auto near Arapahoe and Jordan. Been taking my Toyota's and Honda's there for years. Many of my former TacomaWorld peeps go there now too.
This might align as the kids and I will be coming back from a 2 week trip National Park exploring and will be coming back near Moab. July 2-3 is what I would target to join in on the fun. Small chance but possible so following.
I did the Maze ~5 years ago with 2 fellow Taco owners when I was...
Installed some rear hatch lights. Instrumental they can be either red or white. These are the same ones I put in my engine bay like that Ed Martin guy did. I ran the wires to a 3 way rocker switch mounted on the wing kit of my ARB drawers. I drilled small holes through the rear of the plastic to...
Just dropping here for posteriority in case someone else in the future comes across this similar situation.
The Kings are on and I went with OME 2723's. My ARB right drawer (passenger side) is loaded with tools and recovery gear and my left drawer (driver) is loaded with camping items. My tire...
Within the past 2 months I completed:
New Kings Suspension
OME 2723 springs
Active Offroad Bump stops
BudBuilt rear shock armor
ARB drawers
90k maintenance (was overdo) (new water pump)
Alignment
Postponed Panhard bracket in lieu of bolt on option coming
Which all leads to a Memorial Day...
I can for sure say it is not a bushing. The CV axle slips in and out slightly (yes the 39mm nut is tight) with the hub assembly loose as can be. But I have ripped so much of my front end apart that I am tempted to remove the LCA's and put Whiteline bushings in since I am prob going the OEM route...
I know this thread is more about identifying the parts and how to press them together but does anyone have a place to buy them already together besides the place kcjaz recommended here from post #1? Cuz good grief that sounds really high. My drivers is bad, lift the truck up and can easily shake...
Shameless plug but not sure where you are but give you a screaming deal on OEM rear cargo mats:
https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/denver-co-rear-cargo-mat-oem.1309156/
Installed ARB drawers and now no longer need. Located in Denver and rather not ship due to size.
Price is $50
Pic of item with my footprints as I walked on it.
Copy/pasted pic from Mud forum showing them installed
I just grabbed mine from the mailbox. Ordered midday Monday and in south Denver on Thursday. Just wow on service. Then the quality on this is both legit and stout. I feel you @MrM, eventually it will get warmer as my rig to do list keeps growing.
That was a fun 13 pages of reading/learning about the Panhead Bracket. Going to keep this in mind as maybe that is the wiggle I feel sometimes. This is why I enjoy this community. I came from TacomaWorld and learned a ton there reading and eventually became a sounding board for many with the...
I thought hard on this and did come to that conclusion that if I need a little helper for trips I would do this. But wanted to get coils in there first and get a loaded trip under my belt first.
This goes against everything I have read/learned over the past week on this forum. I mean I have 2722's and don't get me wrong the ride is nice as long as I don't hit bumps either slowly or on a freeway, or load up for trips, but man 2721's. Is it because they are progressive?
Thread revival and hijack! However of all the threads I have read about this topic, this thread is most relevant to what I am deciding.
My Kings are in from Ben at Filthy Motorsport and am in a dilemma with which rear coils to go with. I totally get it is trial and error but at least want to...
