    I have a 68 fj40 and want to swap in a floor shifter for the transfer case. Any ideas on what Years or other hassles to look for ? You helped me through Mini Truck Pwr Steer swap (1/2 day my ass :flipoff2:)Hopefully this swap will be easier.

    Saginaw P/S pump bracket

    If you have the bracket for the "F" engine it only accepts a GM pump. The Destructions say 73 to 76 chevy truck PS pump. I used a 69 with a smaller resovoir to get more adjustment due to the alternater being under it.

    Mini truck power steering

    I'm doing the same on my 68 fj40, just finished the (sag) pump conversion. Had to toss the stock air cleaner, trim the end of the Alt bracket off and shorten the rad hose. This weekend we box!!! So far seems smooth.

    Can I put a 5-speed behind my factory 6

    I have a 69 fj40 with a 6. And have access to a s10 5-Spd. Will this work ? :beer:
