My kids helped me install the cup holder from @bhicks . This is the second one I’ve purchased from him. Last one was in the beige 80. Good product and definitely a luxury to have.
Driving the heck out of it now that it’s running like it should. Next I need to drain and fill the PS, Brake, Diffs, Transfer case, transmission, and coolant. Then do the front crank seal and oil pump seal.
So I thought I was done, but it had a slow start/long crank situation. I read a bunch on here and google searching my symptoms. Had a strong gas smell from the exhaust after the long crank startup. I guess one of the inexpensive Amazon injectors was bad internally. They have OEM part numbers on...
Fancified my wife’s seat. Cabela’s low back bucket seat cover. Was a pain to get buckled and cinched down tight, but it’s way better than the flaking crusty exposed foam seat. And it’s only $20ish.
And now it’s in full on sports cruiser mode.
Tailgate for life.

I found a website from a fellow cruiser-head who documented the same...
I (like many on this forum) have owned 100, 200, 100, 80, 80. Still have a 100 for my wife and an 80 for me. I really liked the 100 over the 200 for the same reason you stated above “the 200 was too nice” and it didn’t have the same driving characteristics I liked about the 100.
BUT now anytime...
All six injectors have power to the connector when checked with a test light.
Man it feels good to be a gangster:
That’s the #6 injector directly under the spot where the hvac control was leaking down onto it. After I changed the hvac control valve, it never ran the same again. Makes sense...
Ok, so I went down a rabbit hole. But before I did, I did a proper vacuum test by blocking off the intake manifold with a rubber glove and a layer of plastic wrap with a tight rubber band. Nothing was escaping the intake. I hooked up a hose to the brake booster inlet on the intake and blew into...
