Update: (pending sale)
Hey guys, I ordered a new set of the heritage edition wheels this morning and will be looking for a buyer for my OE wheels. The reason I'm replacing them is that they're a little cosmetically flawed and I was going to get them refinished but figured it made better sense...
Out of curiosity I was wondering if our old rig still existed and it sure does and they’ve dropped the price considerably to $64k. Getting really close to my trade in number.

In your shoes I’d pass on this one coming in (the dealer isn’t going to be upset) and wait for the 600’s to really trickle in over the next year or so and reassess.
Not sure if you’ve done any nationwide searches for Heritage Editions lately but they’re nearly non-existent. It’s going to be...
It was actually higher than the higher number shown.
But it’s all relative I suppose, was really only concerned with the out the door gap which had to be covered on my end. If anybody is wondering, it was my 200 + 15k. Big cost for vanity lol
I can say that cash outlay gap was significantly...
Feels like it. I'd keep tab a little bit on how mine was doing in the midst of the chaos.
But I mean at the end of the day how fast and far can the last of the land cruisers really drop? I'd still argue it's one of the safer buys in the market, like a Tacoma or 911.
That's great in theory and in most cases I would have offered it out and dealt with the hassle of a private party transaction. But in this case, we're talking there's roughly 10 black heritage editions for sale in the US and this one being the lowest priced, right down the street and they had...
Just a heads up for anybody searching for a solid LC200. We just traded in our 2018 for a Heritage Edition and figured I'd extend the message of providing background on a dealership car (which is normally lost).
They're currently asking $69k
- All stock, never modified
- Never off roaded...
In the coming weeks I'll have a 2001 w/ 292k (yes, I know way more than you wanted) in Raleigh, NC. Will let it go for 10k. Locally owned and extensive service records in the carfax (IIRC 14 pages of all scheduled maintenance performed). I purchased it as a temporary vehicle from the local...
Sensitivity to fuel prices should always be a consideration, but things aren't too ridiculous at the moment.
We also have a 1800mi round trip coming up with our seat-kicking 3 year old, we could either take the wife's X3 that gets 34mpg or the LC hog. The peace of mind with safety, reliability...
Clearly it was auto generated but they have triggers set for these. I went to the dealer a few months ago to fix my rear gate opener on my 18, and without exaggeration, 1 minute after checking in with the SA I get a call from the sales manager asking if I would like to sell it.
haha! I try to check my automotive snobbery at the door - but yeah, it’s a different world from the Porsche dealer.
Converse argument to that (and a very compelling reason for me buying one) is you can find a Toyota dealership anywhere and get this thing serviced in a pinch. Like when I go back...
Bingo. When I traded in my 2020 Taco Sport (MT) for my LC, I got slightly over MSRP for it. Effectively got paid to drive a truck for a year.
Everything is bonkers
Holy crap, that's awesome! Had I not found a local '18 pop up a few months ago, I'd be all over this. Big fan of Dame.
All we have here is a Michael Jordan Nissan, nothing to see there :)
Not entirely sure. I was speaking to the origins of why those “luxury” Japanese brands exist in the first place. Americans have a difficult time paying a premium if a luxury brand isn’t associated with it.
Can’t count how many times I’ve heard or read somebody say “$85k for a Toyota?!?”...
