I updated my fuse block diagram and remeasured the wired in the pull fan plug with the same results.
It seems like the LW and LR in the pull fan plug are switched. Shouldn't I be measuring a short between the LR in the pull fan plug and the LR opposite the BY on the fuse block?
I have gotten a better photo of the wire colors coming out the back of the fan pull plug. They match up with the wire colors on the fan pull switch. With the clip on the right side, there are two blue black wires on the left side of the plug, blue white in the upper right, and blue red in the...
Guys: Break in winter and I managed to ohm out the pull fan plug and the fuse bus bars. I hope my diagram makes sense. Between the fan pull plug WB wire and the WB wires on the fuse bus bar I measured some resistance.
Thanks, Craig
Guys: I really appreciate the help as I would otherwise be at a loss. Giving you exactly what you are asking for accurately is also what I am trying to do. To ensure I am calling out the wire color correctly; ie, WL is a white wire with a light blue stripe? And BR is a black wire with a red...
Thanks I do agree. As fortune would have it I bought a new fuse block months ago just thinking I would use the cover. Now it feels like maybe I should go through the effort of putting in a new one while also getting the factory wiring corrected. How difficult is it to access the ignition switch...
Looks like a red wire to one side of the 15A fuse and yellow/black wire from the other side of the fuse to the IG.
Do you suspect the is a jumper? Not sure what I should be looking for.
Guys:
Good afternoon.
Here is my table for the plug up under the dash based on the wire colors listed above on the fan pull switch. Even with the key in the off position there is 12v on the blue red wire and the lower blue black wire.
