Thanks for the details. I'm not wild about the look of the original 15 inch wheels, and I'm pretty much sold on going up to 16 inch – most likely a 265/75-16. There are a lot more styles available, and I'm hoping the rim & tire dealer I work with will know which lug nuts to use! Good suggestion...
I'm told I need 15" rims with 6 bolts and 31 x 10.5 tires. Not wild about the OEM wheel design. Truck mainly used for camping and hauling boats. Don;t want to look like a soccer mom, but . . .
One wheel got lost in an accident, so I need a whole new set.

Replacement wheel for 1992 FJ80 (see photo) to replace the one that flew off the week after I had tires rotated! I also need a front left fender flair in gunmetal gray.
Thanks! I got them out. Just hoping I never have to put them back in! Now I'll have much more space for camping and kayaking gear. Maybe better mileage, too. Also looking at getting slightly more modest tires for the road, without entirely giving up the G-r-r-r-r-r look of my truck. Hoping that...
Manual makes it look like this can be done without tools. Others say I have to remove bolts. I managed to disengage the metal hook under the folded seat, but now I can't make it budge. Suggestions?
Studied Chilton repair manual that came with my 92 TLC to figure out what to use to top off power steering fluid until I can get reservoir leak repaired. I found some good info on this site. Hoping this "80" forum is the right page for me. My VIN starts with JT3FJ80.
