Thank you so much for the info!! Unfortunately/fortunately it's never cold in Miami.
In the vid I'm not making excuses, just updating the multiple things going on in our life!
I have never heard of this but we had a bunch of people tell us Dry Ice and alcohol on Instagram.
If we give that method a go I'll make sure to film it for others.
Thank you for the reply btw!
Little mini update as we start on the interior of the car. If anyone has any better solutions to a hammer & chisel and a grinder with a wire wheel to remove that factory sound deadening stuff PLEASE let me know??
Hey All,
We're normally pretty familiar being involved in the 60 Series Cruiser side of these forums but if anyone is looking at the budget Hooke Road rack, here's a little vid we put together showing the install and rack as best we could.

Hey All,
Clearly we didn't get back to working on the Cruiser in March for a multitude of reasons which we've done our best to throw into the following vid.
Just an FYI there are NO LandCruiser how-to's or actual working on trucks in this video. I don't normally post these vids on here but...
Not yet! I’m finishing off the barn door install now, then paint, then reassembly which will include the windscreen.
I’ll make sure I go into as much detail as I can on the windscreen and show all our mistakes etc.
We bought a new seal for the windscreen without the chrome mounding.
We have...
Happy New Year everyone!! Hoping everyone got to hit the road in their prospective LandCruisers.
We had a bit of time off working on the car over the holidays but we're now back in full swing.
I've seen a lot of discussions about using Monstaliner and other Bedliners on here. Here is our 1st...
Thanks so much for the awesome feedback.
So this is for sure a true representation of how my days actually go working on the car. And yes I really am so annoyed at the end of the video.
That’s so nice for you to say. We can’t wait to see it finished either. I’d be lying if I said I ever imagined we’d still be building this truck a year later.
This is actually a huge question.
I have diagrams (attached below) that I’ve found from different websites (also listed below).
New rubber is a whole other ballgame though. Here's what I've found:
Toyota Rubber Part Numbers for Barn Doors:
Centre rubber Seal: 67884-90A00
Right Hand top rubber...
So this is probably the most real video I've made. I didn't cut out any of my mistakes and there were many.
For anyone looking to add Barn Doors/Ambulance Doors to their US spec FJ62, it is for sure doable without a ton of bodywork experience but it's not a quick job at all.
