Finished this up a while ago. Wasn’t to happy with the overall cost of a complete replacement, so I went to work. Used premade plate, mounting kit and hinge assembly from 4xinnovations. 4’ of 2x3 and 2x2 3/16 and some scrap 2x4 3/16 at the Frame. Not bad for being really my first time welding...
@ryaneddy16 nice to meet you!
Motor and everything associated has gone to a good home.
OEM shocks, skid, splash guard and roof rack still available.
Help me make some more room for a 40!
Not at all, happy I didn’t have to chase it that far.
@Beto Cruiser i have an Asfir front skid, how much work would it be to make your work? Maybe I misread but it looks like you need to use the fiberglass splash guard!
Looking to clear the garage up.
-VVTI motor - partial, motor is bad. No intake manifold missing other misc items
-AHC globes, motor etc. condition unknown
2006 - roofrack w rails and end caps
Oem front skid plate and splash guards
Rear mud flaps
Oem shocks 10k miles
Come take some or all...
I've been happy with the Eibach pro kit. A good medium between stock and OME. I think you can get the shocks and springs for under $600 + Freedom UCA's and Sway Away TB's your in it for $13-1400. Great on road manners, firmed up but not amish buggy "OME".
@jerryb Everything clicked into place. I wonder if when they cut the wires to the rear O2's it shorted and popped the EFI / ECD NO.2 Fuse.
Spoke with Hewitt, I am going to un-install the Gen-1 kit, will see where that gets me. Just find it odd that I would be having issues with the MAF...
Need some assistance here. About a week ago someone decided they wanted my cats more than i did. That's ok, karma is a MF'er. Anyway, i purchased Davico CC's for my 06 (PN 17194) . Also replaced the upstream and down stream o2's with Denso units.
Part #'s:
CC's PN: L/R 17194
Denso: Upstream...
4 in good condition. Spare was never on the ground still has factory stickers on the wheels. All 4 center caps included. Don’t want to ship at this time. $400 obo. Open to 100 specific trades as well.
So......P0340 is not longer showing. However P0430 and P2445 is showing. P2445 has not showed up as a stored code yet but the P0430 does. Again, everything is running completely fine, figure i'll start with O2's on at bank 1. Unless someone has a better idea. Also, an SAIS bypass is in order.
That was some of my concern. I did do about 4 revolutions and I was show 0 degrees and TDC at each full revolution. But I'll have to pull the cam covers and double check. Hoping it is something silly as i don't want to pull the front of the motor apart.
@zjohnsonusa I did. I had the motor on a stand when i did the TB and spent a good bit of time being paranoid about making sure that everything was lined up. Possible that the TB jumped a tooth upon start up? Did your code pop up immediately upon start up? It is strange though that the CEL will...
Thanks @JunkCrzr89 , i was also looking at the P0340 specific page which is DI-197.
So a few things to note:
I forgot to add that i swapped over the VVTi sensor from the old engine and there was no change.
A P0341 would tell me if i am off a tooth and timing was off.
Sound like i need to...
