it's on those slight shudders that you try to convince yourself was there before it happened. we shall see...at this point i will probably just keep her going as long as possible and deal with engine swap down the line...i just hope it happens in my own backyard next time haha
just wanted to provide update: timing belt/water pump replaced with parts I already had at home. engine is in fact running again with a slight knock/stutter at low rpm which very likely is slight valve damage. mechanic said belt tore in 2 spots and that it appeared to be aftermarket. i asked for...
Had it towed there from Virginia, went by this evening and of course tow company dropped in front of his bays so pushed it back and will go first thing in am and he’ll push back further and make intro. Thanks to all
I bough it about a year ago, I haven’t changed belt and not sure when last changed. Really kicking myself because I had the parts at home and was supposed to do it before I left. Talked to Cody at otramm, heck of a guy and think I’ve settled on towing back to charleston, sc and go from there...
Mechanic just called to say he pulled timing belt cover off and belt is broken. Trying to weigh options, if I should have towed to sc or have the work done and take a chance driving it 6 hours home.
Starter turns engine but doesn’t seem to catch. Didn’t see any fluids when I was parked in hey.
I’ll def post em up as soon as I have them. Really helps to talk this through. Thanks

*****DOES NOT HAVE STEREO PIGTAILS****
I purchased this because I needed the pigtails to do stereo conversion. As stated above, I cut those pigtails off but other than that it's a complete harness. It is sitting in my garage and would like to get my money back. Please do not low ball and waste...
probably over thinking this but before i go further, i ended up buying the entire dash wire harness and i may as well been staring at dna double helix trying to find the right pigtails. however, after going end to end on the harness, i matched the plugs that were in same general area of one...
I didn't specify that exactly but bezel/control and dash harness are coming from same vehicle. What are alternate names for the pigtails or what harness are they a part of? Or does anyone have the part number for the pigtails? Thanks so much.
I've read the entire thread and found a lc dash with dial controls. unfortunately, yard doesn't cut wires. I purchased the dash wiring harness as well. The dash harness should have the appropriate plugs/pigtails correct?
