Looking to by the housing for the transfer direct assembly or possibly the whole assembly. It is what the transfer shifter attaches to, bolts to the side of the front cone on transfercase it is cast. The year is 77' fj40 mine is broke. Need to get this fixed so if you got one please let me know!!!

Ok heres the story.... 69' 40 with sbc conversion do to unforseen circumstances my 40 needs to become my DD. I was thinking of switching to a 4 speed with the idea of the extra gear would help lower the RPM's at freeway speeds and maybe help on fuel consumption and the tendancy for her to run...

It is hooked up to acc on the ignition switch. Not sure off hand how the fan is wirerd, I believe it is running from the fuse block but I would have to check for sure but it also comes on with they key switched to start. I hooked the CB to the acc per the manual should it be wired straight to...
Just put my CB in my 40 and when my electric rad fan is on I can hear the motor through the CB. Just wondering if there is some sort of somthing to hook up that will reduce or iliminate the noise from the CB.
Gone it is then! Just wasnt sure if it had a purpose or not. PO did a lot of crazy stuff on this one. Carb is a EDL 600cfm non egr, vacume hooked to small port on pass side no vac at idle just when throttled up. 68' 307 chevy stock distrib as far as I can tell. Thanks for the input.:clap:
