    bad gas milage for fj cruiser with ome suspension

    10mpg is crazy low....I'm running 33x12.5, heavy bumper and roof rack and get 17-18 but I'm driving 'miss daisy". Easy on the acceleration and I never go over 72 on highway, any faster and it wants to downshift on overpasses.

    How many miles do you have on your FJC

    4 mos. old 2632 miles, my wife put 800 miles first 10 days, then I lifted it and banned her from driving it.....it sits for 4-5 days at a time now.

    Windshield cracks: Is this a big problem?

    Don't know about other states but in Fla, comprehensive insurance coverage will replace front any vehcile glass at no cost to policy holder.....I can attest because the old ladies 2004 tahoe is on its 3rd windshield.
