96 Taco 2.7L No power, idles rough a month after head replacement

Follow-up - The Full Story So the head gasket failed, and upon inspection the cylinder head had some small cracks. Pretty standard repair ... no big deal. I ordered a remanufactured head online from Heads Only and installed it. After a month it was running poorly, as per the the start of this...

SOLD Belgium 1994 LHD HZJ75 Pickup, 141k miles, Locking Diffs

Don't forget, this will be subject to the 25% chicken tax rather than the normal 2.5% for passenger cars.

Cam and piston are fine, just that one valve. It's a remanufactured head, so maybe the guide just crapped out? Sending it in for, hopefully, warranty.

OK so finally got around to doing a leakdown test which showed an issue with the exhaust valve on cylinder #2. We pulled the cylinder head off and, well, see for yourself:

    The Coleman Thread

I have this case that came with my 288, but works well for my 200a https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coleman-Lantern-Hard-Shell-Carry-Case-Teal-288A763T/183738946017?epid=1900077786&hash=item2ac7b1d1e1:g:JdkAAOSwzsNckRYf

Yes, carry spare mantles. Store the lantern upright in its case and it will be fine. In shipping it gets laid on its side, kicked around, tossed, etc.

General consensus on whether the shop should pay for towing for shoddy work

Can you say the name of the shop? (PM is ok if you don't want to slam them publicly) Also, to your original point, I have seen shops cover towing but it's very rare.

General consensus on whether the shop should pay for towing for shoddy work

So to be clear, you still want the shoddy work, you just don't want to pay as much for it? That's my way of saying get a new shop. ;) "Fool me once," and all that ...

    How bad is the 2-LT?

So I talked to my Italian coworker and it turns out the dealer with the vehicle I am interested in is right next to the office. I had him translate some questions for me as they didn't reply to my inquiry that I sent in English. 💩's about to get real!

I wonder if bench seats and a canvas cover would allow a pickup to be imported as a "passenger vehicle" and thus avoid the chicken tax? Like this:

What is yours bolted to? ... Now that I read up on how it actually works.

Thanks! I'd probably do this in addition to an EGT gauge. Is there any value to installing it at the thermostat housing bolt?

Does Anyone Make a Bolt On D-Ring Mount for European Models?

Doing some googling, I think the bolt pattern is for a pintle hitch. Is that correct?

Or would it need to be fabricated? For this bolt pattern:

Any recommendations on the parts for this? I searched here but didn't turn up much. I was probably not searching for the right terms It's a Land Cruiser, not a Land Racer ;) I have the wife's Nissan Armada for when I'm in a hurry ...
