Hey all,
I've finally gotten around to dealing with replacing my O2 sensors in my 97 LX 450 but I probably should have looked at the damage before diving into it! The bolts holding on my O2 sensors are super rusted out and as much as I love working on my truck I think I might be in over my...
Far from casing the joint! That was actually the first 40 i've ever seen in person so I was over the moon to take a look! Sorry to hear about the theft, people are jerks. If I ever drive by and see the garage is open i'll be sure to stop by and say hello - always nice to meet another Toyota nut!
Update: Flushed the old fluid out for ATF this weekend. It completely illuminated the groaning noise when turning the wheel. Fells like a new truck and I couldn't be happier. The sucking noise is still there however. Still only ever happens once per drive too. The mystery continues!
I did and it read right at the correct level for the temp - i'm leaning towards the idea that it's taking on air somewhere in the system. It also only makes the weird sucking noise once - Right after startup. It just groans from there on out till the system heats up, then it quiets down.

My question is on...

I picked up some new leather for my steering wheel - the color is a pretty close match to the original brown (slightly lighter than OEM) It took some time to get it right but with some patience I think it turned out quite nice.
I purchased a pre-cut kit from amazon - the fitment was 8/10 but...
Well I'm glad someone is driving it! (for now) It is a real shame that the rust cancer spread through all her vitals, it's really only a matter of time before she flat-lines
Thanks again for the sale and the soon to come LED's. Let me know if any of you are having a wrenching day, I...
