You should compare the load range and speed index of the falken at4 in load range C to what was on the truck when it rolled off the assembly line. I believe most 80s came with P275/70R16.
If your truck is completely built out and weighs 7,000 pounds, then you may want to run a tire with a higher...
Not to start an argument but I found 285s on coopers website. I’m not saying you’re wrong, and I agree that the choices for 16” wheels are dwindling. Maybe the inventory numbers are generated based on location, so maybe they just don’t have that many tires in California.

@Nightbrew I would like to see your rig with the 255s and spacers. That’s what I was thinking about doing as well. Currently I’m running 285/75 on the factory 16” wheels, no spacers
It’s exciting because 1) the falken at3w has earned a great reputation, hopefully the at4w will be even better, and 2) there aren’t a lot of options in this size, especially in an all terrain. Really glad to see falken supporting the 16” wheel.
I’m really interested in the C range tires. I’d...
That’s what I was thinking. I don’t love either center console personally. It’s too low and too far away for me to use as an armrest. That’s one of reasons I ended up getting a Scheelmann seat.
I don’t think the Miami Blue is a good fit for an 80. But on a 911…come on!
Edit: sorry for clogging up your build thread with this. Let me know if you want me to remove it.
I don’t love the Toyota army green. But I do love the Lexus nori green pearl.

I like the blue you posted earlier.
Not sure what the color is, but my buddy John, in Uganda, has an 80 in a similar color blue. I’m not sure if it’s a factory Toyota blue or not.
This is not the best picture, but you get the idea. It’s a triple locked HDJ81 with a manual transmission. Pretty...
@shellb I get it man. My favorite Toyota color is quicksand. If I ever paint the 80, that’d be at the top of my list.
Honestly, I guess I like the red ones because they’re not too common. My 3h4 is in really good condition so no need for paint anytime soon.
@Cruisers and Co A get together...
