    Happy Rock Warrior Day

Unfortunately no. I think they’ve been listed as no longer available on most major Toyota part websites for going on a couple of years now. Short of getting lucky and finding some on a shelf, I think most that have them now are going to charge an arm and a leg.

Which Oil Filter Would You Rather Use?(TRD/OEM)

I’ve seen similar resin/glue in the TRD filters as well. And before anyone questions origin, these were directly ordered and picked up from a Toyota dealer.

    Amsoil in the Triad

For future reference the NAPA store in Burlington has a wide selection of Amsoil fluids, etc in stock. Also the kids working there on a Saturday are super knowledgeable and helpful. 10/10 will be back!

    Amsoil in the Triad

I was hoping to get lucky and someone knew a place off the top of their head. Figure it didn’t hurt to ask. And yes, I’m in GSO so ideally Guilford, Rockingham, or Forsyth counties. Without a someone chiming in, I’ll place an order tonight or tomorrow. No worries!

    Amsoil in the Triad

Before I place an order, any chance one of my fellow Triad folks knows where to find some Severe Gear 75W-90 easy packs locally? Or perhaps someone has stock they are willing to sell? I need 4. Happy to buy up to 10. I meant to place an order earlier this week so I could do some work this...

    2018 200 series vs GX550

Switch your registration to South Dakota since it’s ever so slightly less conspicuous than Montana. Solved.

    Suspension Articulation RTI Tracker

Dan Edmunds being called a YouTuber is pretty comical. I think you mean why are so many OE suspension engineers turned technical editors for various legit, legacy publications so verbose. Dan’s an auto nerd and that’s okay. But also since you asked. There is an actual reason YouTube are made...

OK to tow 3,000 pound trailer without trailer brakes?

    I think you’ll be fine.

    Heated Seat Light Issue

Hey Kurt, I believe had the same issue that you and the other member described in my 2011. The passenger side seat heater light would stay lit. We pulled every dang fuse you’d think could send power to the thing and it never went off. So clearly I don’t understand how it gets power. I ended up...

February 2024 Meeting / NASCAR Shop Tour

Just for clarification, won’t be attending food and brew. Gotta turn and burn back to GSO. Looking forward to it!

    BaT Mississippi-2019 Built 200 62,000 miles

Ahh, sorry to hear the owner isn’t thrilled with the outcome. I learned about their make whole policy as a seller on BaT back in 2018. It’s also bit some folks in the backside who didn’t know about it and had shills bidding just under the reserve!

    BaT Mississippi-2019 Built 200 62,000 miles

@wngrog Curious, was the reserve sub $80k or did BaT make up the difference?

How can I make ride little more comfy ?

The most basic answer is likely tires. What tires are you currently running and how long have they been on the truck/what are their date codes?

    Snowy Forest Service Roads?

No worries, fish have definitely played a part in several other closures like you mentioned. Back to the tread. There are also some options in southern VA but I’m not well-versed enough to know FSR #s off the top of my head. Look north and east of the Grayson Highlands area. Consult the MVUM...

    Snowy Forest Service Roads?

Not really a conversation worth getting into since the ship has long sailed, but based on several conversations with sheriff deputies, the Richland closure was initiated by land owners in the area sick of trespassing. Furthermore, for decades now the road itself doesn’t actually connect as a...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Baxter recommends the Mobil M1-209 or Wix 51516, do those not clear the skid plate? I’ve long considered buying the Baxter adapter but am concerned about clearance between one of those recommended filter sizes and my aftermarket skid plate.
