I've had some of the same problems. I've got wind noise and a small water leak after a new windshield was installed. It seems fairly common. The leak was where the wires for the windshield defroster connect to the windshield (right near the duct in the pictures KLF posted. It is likely that...
Well, I too ordered before the discovery of the fitment issue with the LX. I've got a 2013 model. Aside from the mentioned issue, they look really nice and well made.
I wouldn't be scared of the mileage if it's in good shape. I paid a lot more for my LX with over 150,000 on it (given, it was a lot newer). Driven it for another 35,000 miles with zero issues. I feel like getting one in good shape with higher miles just makes it more affordable, but not a lot...
Let me know what your up to. Sounds like your working on something I was thinking about. My 13 LX has 180,000 miles and the front camera is in bad shape. A new factory camera is $1200. Found one from Japan for about $550. Still too expensive. Are you wanting to put an aftermarket camera in...
Well, I got a chance to test out the sliders this weekend. I went back to Hidden Falls in central Texas. There are several really rocky, hilly trails. I had one really hard hit to this slider when I was going up fairly steep trail in the rain and slid sideways on to a large rock. Seemed...
That should be much better. It's still strange as the front toe shoes toe in, not to out. Maybe when the other shop tried to fix it, they toed it in too much. Either way, just monitor future tire wear. Everything else on the alignment looks good. The rear toe isn't a big deal. Mine is even...
I would kindly ask them to realign it with a print showing before and after numbers. As a shop owner that does alignments, I don't understand why a shop would give you an incomplete print out. In fact, I don't even know how they managed to print it that way without obstructing the sensors. If...
The most recent one indicates that there was toe out in the front, but it doesn't show the corrections or current measurements. I don't know why they would give you that.
That kind of inner tire wear is caused by toe out in the front. Either they didn't properly align it, or you have a bad tie rod (inner or outer) or a bad control arm bushing causing the toe out. My guess is something may have gotten left loose when the axle was removed. Make sure the dealer...
