It drapes over the center console. It has a "cinch" to tighten around the transfer case shifter and Velcro backing on the back the back of the wings to "grip" the transmission tunnel carpet. It fits perfectly with cutouts for the shifter, ECT/2ndStart buttons and the seat heater switches. Can...
I think mine were possibly defective from the get-go. But no way to really prove it. Others have said they never experienced what I did whereas some have said they LocTite their jam nuts from the start so never knew if it would ever become a problem. I do think Blue LocTite should be a...
I can't emphasize this enough.......LOCTITE and or tack weld the jam nuts on the those control arms once you get them adjusted how you like. I have had NOTHING but problems with my TT real upper/lower control arms. They would continually come loose as I drove regardless of how tight they were...
Makes sense actually. The LX was always the "luxury" version. The 100 Series was the biggest SUV Toyota offered until the Sequoia. So if someone wanted a "3-row" big SUV from Toyota, the LC was the only choice. Once the Sequoia became available and was a little longer (more leg room), cost...
Meet at the Conoco gas station on 550 at the southern edge of town by 8:30am each morning. That's where we all meetup and decide what trails we will do for the day.
@SharpeCat I'll take a code please. At this point, I'll order anything I can since my summer trips start in June and I'm down to the wire needing a new fridge (old one finally bit the dust).
When is the VLPro Series going to be added to the Group Buy? I'm needing to order a fridge very very soon for the summer camping season. All I see are three "coolers" which aren't at all what I need.
You could always join me the week prior up in Salida where I run the trails along the Collegiate Peaks before heading down to Silverton ;) Totally different topography with a solid mix of high altitude, forested gravel routes and a few super high altitude mountain climbs (Antero 13.981 feet...
Fingers crossed for the VL60Pro! That's the one I need....especially since my Costway bit the dust 2 months ago and summer overlanding season is coming QUICK! :)
that's a great tip. Every fridge I've seen has a seam around the bottom. Never thought to RTV silicone it, but it makes perfect sense! Definitely going to do that with my ICECO.
I'm in for a VL60Pro AND a new slide as my Costway fridge finally bit the dust and the slide for it is too narrow/short for the larger VL60Pro. No need for a battery pack though as I already use one.
Time to reboot/regrease or even replace the CV as it's clearly blown out. The grinding could be either inner or outer wheel bearings gone bad. Could also be the big balls in the CV inner joint gone bad from lack of grease. As stated above, the "grind" could be a stone caught in the debris...
Ran the "regular" for 2 years, transferred it to the trailer where it is still running strong. Switched to the AGM version nearly 2 years ago and have been very happy with it.
Once inside the State Park, you won't have cell service. The Sauceda ranger station (main station in the center of the park) will have WiFi though, so you'll be able to communicate from there. Jackson Pens is just past my all time favorite site (Fresno Vista). It's on the way out to the...
