    Looking under there, it looks like that wedge may keep the spare from snugging up against that nice important looking black box above it. Anyone done the checks to see if it does and if it is a problem?

    To be clear...there is no non-destructive way to remove the factory rack without lowering the headliner. The eBay link part goes on from the underside.

    from memory only that product looks right. The concern will be making sure you get it “stuck” to the underside of the roof in a way that prevents it from falling into the headliner when you remove the rack next time.
