Ordered from the website. It was free shipping and no tax just couldn’t use my points.
Hopefully they are nice, I have SPC on my other 100, curious to see how they compare.
I had finally talked myself into ordering these this morning since I could get them on amazon and use some points to help the price even more but do not see a link for the 100 series UCA’s. Anyone else having this problem?
Took advantage of the weather and took it for the first long drive after CV’s, lift/ahc removal, wheels and tires, and bumpers Drove great a bit bumpier than I had hoped but nothing nicer shocks won’t fix - had tough dogs on my old 100 and it rode much better than these OME’s
If you have zero experience I’d at least go 4x4 labs. Before welding on that bumper you might get some scrap to dial in your welds so you don’t end up with a lot of money/time in a bumper you aren’t completely satisfied with. Welding is a great hobby to learn. Good luck with it! Unfortunately my...
Drove it to work a few times last week and noticed a bad “clunk” on the speed bumps in the parking garage. Noticed axles were slinging grease really bad so figured that was my clunk. Spent the evening replacing both front axles and front diff fluid then went for a spin and still had the damn...
Not today but over the last two weeks. Started out stock with non functioning AHC.
New OME lift and AHC delete, diff drop, bumpers (front and rear), wheels and tires, ball joints, tie rod ends. Now all it needs is a bath and alignment. Still haven’t driven it yet. Gotta install winch and wire...
Have both rear AHC shocks and coils from 05 LX. Shocks were replaced within the last 2000 miles.
have the front passenger shock as well. Don’t know the age or miles (179k original?)
Also have the torsion bars and a quart of unopened AHC fluid. I am willing to pull any other parts you need...
I did mine yesterday on 6 ton jack stands. I did most of it with the wheels and tires on for safety purposes but still jacked it up and set on stands. It’s an 05 with 179k miles. if you aren’t wanting to cut the shocks they aren’t too terrible to unbolt. Grab a chain wrench or pipe wrench to...
i appreciate all the help. It looks like yall are right after lookin at pictures of complete steering boxes on the computer. someone has jammed a seal in at some point to prevent it from leaking. So after all my time wasted I had the correct seal and was just gettin screwed by someone half...
The old seal come off the outside and then revealed the snap ring that i assume holds the bushing/bearing in. please correct me if I am going at this in the wrong way. It will save me a lot of frustration. the part number on the original NOK seal was AG1862E. as far as i can tell
