oh no sorry. I am able to keep my truck. I thought I was going to have to sell it in which case I was all over another Cruiser but I dont have to sell.
with the head gasket done, this will be a much more attractive truck to buyers. heck, i might consider throwing a number out there. my wife still makes fun of my for getting rid of my 80...
How far away W.L.? Could you make a quick drive by and give me a rust report status? The color coded bezel makes me think re-paint. Weren't they all white?

Honestly Dave, what ever you want to pay me for 'em. If you are in Austin I can bring them to work one day and you can just come and grab them. I don't have a truck anymore and if/when I do again it won't be one that can take these brakes.
All yours.
If I can find my 100 series rotors (front) I will either bring them or give them to Mark. Mark, still have my number? I could give ya the rotors to bring over lunch one day. I am cruiserless.

I'll know for sure on Monday when I call back for my final offer. I have to travel so it makes it a real PITA. Thanks for the help.
Yeah yeah yeah... lessons learned. Got excited, paid WAY too much for it initially, modded it when I should have done all the deferred maint... In the end I...
does anyone have a generic bill of sale for cars? someone coming to look at the cruiser this weekend and i cant find one. i thought there was one on the YT site or was that in yahoo files?
For those of you that get engrossed by the Baja 1000, Paris-Dakar and the like, you might want to follow this thread. A normal guy like you and I (debatable I guess) has decided that as he turns 40 he wants to run the Baja 1000... Ironman style, solo, on a motorcycle.
It's a great journey...
I am not in HR but have had a new job once about every 2 years. Pretty damn good at getting them. Also paid someone a small fortune to write mine last time I went job hunting so I can pass along tips. If you are comfortable emailing it to me please email it to perakos at gmail.
