Just need to remove those three bolts and it comes off. Can't recall if its required to hold the MAF to the airbox lid or not. I just know its removable because I had mine powdercoated with a bunch of other parts. Now its back in that same spot - lookin pretty and still serving no purpose...
At the end of the day, they’re pretty much a paint can with a pressure regulator. Doesn’t need to be a whole lot more sophisticated.
This is the one I’ve been using and it’s been great. I got the cone attachment which works wonderfully for the exhaust and intake...
25k miles on my kit and overall its been great. I've been daily driving it since the turbo was installed with minimal issues.
Some problems I have had (and some I'm still having):
First thing that happened was trouble holding boost. Got a smoke kit and found quite a few leaks but it ended up...
Beautiful build! I had originally been planning an LS3 swap into my FJ62 but since the 80 sees more highway miles it might make sense to pursue this swap instead... and then put the 1FZ-FTE into the 62 🤔

I feel like it's pretty obvious at this point what Toyota's plan is. We're getting the light-duty J150 successor branded as the "Land Cruiser" for US...

I don't think this was ever a real concern considering the...
Very interesting. That would certainly be a shock to me given the heritage but everything is a cost analysis and if it’s not selling there then no point in keeping it around.
I saw this too. I think the confusion is primarily for markets that have traditionally received both the “Land Cruiser” and “Land Cruiser Prado” - my assumption is the J250 model in those markets will still carry the “Prado” badge when it is released there.
The US is not the first market to...
