    This shift linkage was this way when I bought this FJ. I think the threads are just worn out? The shaft to slides out. Have any of you experienced this? Can replacement parts be found?

    I'm thinking adding fuel injection to the F2 and a manual five speed transmission is probably the way to go for my FJ40. Need to research best 5 speed option now.

    The FJ Company is installing the 1FZ engine and updated 4Runner breaks. Has anyone attempted this? Are there a lot of mods involved? I'm just curious to see if any DIY people have attempted either one of these upgrades and what the process involves.
