Just an observation. Looks like the gas nozzle might of hit it while filling up? I would not paint it. Factory paint is best. Dr colorchip will definitely clean it up nice. Might take a few attempts to get it right.Defintly sucks!!
Looks like some goo?? Try some goo b gone. I'd order a Dr.color chip small kit. You will need for future chips as Toyota paint systems are very prone to road chips. The kits are very simple to use.
Aircraft remover will definitely strip it. On monstaliner Twitter page they were using a citrus paint stripper. I think the chemical was pretty safe to use. I would scuff it and respray in color of your choice.
This has really turned into a Matlock episode🤔 I just can't picture that clamp being the culprit. There seemed to be plenty of clearance around side and bottom of Phh nipple to not interfere with head seating flush. Hopefully the machine shop takes pity on your wallet!
Thanks. Looks to be about 1/8th inch recessed from flush with block? From posted picture looks to be about same amount of hose to right of clamp after mated to block.
Great observation. Definitely looks like the constant clamp indention on HG. Might just be from positioning and lowering head onto motor. It looks from pic that clamp is in the clear? I would think a rectangle imprint from clamp on HG would be present about an inch long if it didn't seat...
A dull razor blade scraper. Keep window wet with spray bottle of water. Keep glue /tint wet as you scrape it off.Old tint is the worst to remove.Ammonia to remove glue is the best I've used.
I usually use Megs m100 to finish polishing. It goes from a compound to a polish in 1 step no hazing. Removes sanding marks fast. I like the car pro denim orange peel pads to remove orange peel slow but safe. I like all the collonite products for final wax. I like the lake county yellow 5.5...

I was under the impression the (nonslinky) icon 2.5 3 inch lift was designed with a winch bumper up front and few hundred pounds in rear? Would it be safe to assume a loaded 80 with winch bumper, sliders, roof rack maybe 200lbs of junk would net a 2 1/2 inch lift with the Icon 2.5 shocks 3inch...
