Fob is in the key handle itself. I believe these work for the 2007 model years as well (verify this, though)
$120 shipped to you. Paypal F&F (or you cover fee)
Saw title on sidebar and thought it was going to be a NSSE (Not So Special Edition) FJ Cruiser thread.
Got 60 Series instead.
Sweet truck. Any future mods or big maintenance planned?
Weren't these the years Stewart was running a leaf spring in the rear that wasn't connected to the a second shackle just so they were technically retaining the stock suspension design?
@Tapage are there any pics posted anywhere of the bracket you devised for the alternator?
I found this old post of yours with dead pictures :(
Marilu Upgrades Ver. 2010
I've had my front swaybar off since I installed OME Light and SPC uppers up front.
Truck behaves fine for me.
I'd assume having too soft of a spring rate would make being sans swaybar a bit sketchier.
Things I've learned doing CV axle swaps:
Puppy pads make a decent way to avoid gear oil from getting everywhere.
Sacrificial flathead screwdrivers and/or chisels are nice for getting the dust cover off. If you're careful the cover will be reusable.
The axle may be stuck in the wheel hub...
One good starting point is FSMs. In particular I found RM172E to be helpful in getting acclimated with the early 1hz, 1hd-t, and 1pz engines.
Toyota FSMs make great international flight reading. Get in a trance and hammer out 8 hours of reading. Bazinga.
When you're building the shocks I'd use some Team Associated green slime on the o-rings. Miracle fix for leaks in my experience.
Glad to see more RC build threads here. I need to post my latest project build :)
I think the guys staging their dirtbikes and the guys having a go at the rock gatekeeper got an ounce of amusement from seeing 200s make it through.
I imagine 200s aren't a common sight for them there :D
