just replace the fuse, don't buy an AC clutch, wait till you get back from vacation to do the full fix
just don't turn on the AC, that's what I think is better given your time constraint
Did another search and found this, so I believe this is your problem. See below. Do not turn the AC back on, and replace that fuse and get on your way.
"A lttle background on the problem I had: I was driving down the road here in Tucson with the A/C on. It was about 100 degrees outside and all...
I did a search and got this: "The wiring for the AC clutch is protected by the "GAUGE" fuse. "
So possible your AC clutch went out, then that popped the fuse to some dash gauges. I would look in the fuse locations, replace that fuse, make sure your AC is off and don't turn it back on.
I'm not...

I had to replace both (fairly easy) on my one 80 then the dash lights for locking etc. worked correctly
Did you try these guys in Haltom City?

I'm in Weatherford and work in Fort Worth. Glad to know you're in the area.
These are the folks who work in my LCs if it's too big for me.
They know the 80 very well...
Thanks TurboDennis! Couldn't pull the wheel because had a lock lug nut on it. This is a rolled 80 I bought so just pulling parts off. So just did it from the bottom and by poking my head up into the access panel. Wasn't comfortable but done. Pulled starter bolts, pulled connections, didn't take...
RTH; do I have to pull my starter if I'm doing engine removal only? Will the starter gear slip out when I pull it? Roughly where are the transmission harness to main harness disconnect locations?
I'm pulling an engine now, first time, and wow is this thread helpful, thanks to all who contributed. One question, how do you turn the motor by hand, what is the process?
Installed on both sides now. Second one it wouldn't slip in, finally figured out I hadn't widened the slots enough, ground a little more and slipped right in. Works well. Thanks!
One test ride and no more shaky shaky. When I first used the electric motor adjustment the mirror "popped" down and then it seemed to adjust fine. Will report if there are negative happenings. So far only positive. I only ordered the driver side, so have three more mirrors to fix if more test...
Here are the pics; I'm confused by the single larger diameter tube of the shorter tubes .. can't find pics on the web. Can anyone provide some detail shots of this wheel tray style of 4x4 Labs bike rack? Especially the upper part of the rack? How are the exhaust clamps applied? Can the wheel...
I did this last night. The little Ears on the plastic part that stays in the mirror housing, now that the top of the part with the mirror attached has to slide under Outsane's bracket, it can't come over the top and rest down on the little Ears, that's why you slot the tabs, either broken or...
This is the aux 24 gallon tank that replaces the rear spare tire.
Tucks up very well.
An after market bumper can change fitment. I had to fab a piece of metal to reach a small amount to the Labs bumper.
I need to post pics.
I bought one from Ward this spring and installed it myself. I have very limited mechanical abilities. Took me a while, like everything does, with a 4x4 labs bumper. Some fitment issues. But it works extremely well.
What I did was get a local powder coater. Off-Duty Powder Coaters in Weatherford, TX did an amazing job for me and the price was really good. That way no scratches from shipping.
