Anyway, I wrapped a ratchet strap around the pulley several times, then around driver frame, then around passenger frame, and then hooked up the business end to a 18" breaker...
Do you think these would provide enough clearance for 32" tires, with a standard lift, without making the ride wonky? Would likely never see anything but mild offroading...I'd like a little lift on a budget. Guessing that would give me an inch to inch and a half.

You're referring to Unique Performance. I know someone that worked there until about a month before the bottom fell out. There was a lot more going on there besides title washing...
Lowrangeoffroad.com sells a decal kit. It does require some light trimming, but comes in a wide array of colors to include black. I just did mine and it looks pretty good. I went with white because I'm repainting white. Don't know if I'll leave the cover black or go pewter.
