From the Foreign Service article, the module appears to be a pulse width modulation (PWM) motor speed controller. These are common for DC motor and light power control.
The speed is controlled by adjusting the timing or width of the pulses of voltage. The figure in the article shows just this...
I understand now. I think you did mention this some where up above., that one could not get a baster in deep enough.
So, maybe one could.
But your reason for bleeding through the rear makes sense.
Thanks.
Why do you remove excess fluid ( above Full line) by bleeding through the rear brake?
Could it not be removed with a baster from the fluid reservoir itself? This seems simpler.
Incredible write up. Thank you.
Just had the same, check engine light and VSC trac and VSC off lights. Found this thread. Resecured gas cap, disconnected battery for 30 min. Lights were off initially then came back on. 17 yr old gas cap. Put a thin film of oil on the gasket, resecured it. Lights off. Old gaskets might need a...

I heartily recommend Alfredo, near Corona. Knows his stuff, did a proper job, cleaned up the rust, used the correct rivets for the trim, and the noise is much better.
I may be a bit wrong on the details in my description above.
The thin ring on the spacers face outward, the same side as the lugs
The spacers fit over a similar ring on the hub, which centers the spacer on the hub.
The ring and the machined ring on the spacers fit outward and mate into an...
Both front and rear spacers come from Spidertrax with the hub-centric orienting ring.
It is the flange sticking up above the central open space inside the lug nuts.
For the front spacers Slee has machined away some of the material from this ring in order to clear the protrusions of the drive...
Thanks so much for the great write-up.
My 06 has had the same two cracks on both sides for several years now.
It seems like standard equipment, not an option.
I highly recommend Alfredo's. He did my 06 a few years back. Replaced the screws with rivets, new trim and ground out and primed rusty spots all for a great deal, under $300 at the time, I bought the trim. He definitely knows our vehicles and how to do a proper job.
Wind noise was gone.
My 2006 LC had AHC, but I removed it.
So the original rear stabilizer bar is the AHC version.
It seems that ideally I should replace the rear bar with the non-AHC version.
Does anyone have any thoughts about what difference this might make?
I am carrying a full Slee rear bumper and CruzerDave...
Ulp. I don't want to look.
170,000 and many different tires and wheel mountings.
But no scraping sound.
I just want to thank you for your comprehensive postings.
They are my weekly mechanical education lessons and incredibly informative.
I also have had this rattle. It was quite frequent and almost constant recently when towing at 50 – 60 mph. It does vary with load, and disappears when coasting downhill if I get the throttle just right and is worse under load uphill.
I am asking for more information and elaboration to help me...
I just went to Alfredo's for a 100 series windshield install. I could not be happier.
Just about everything was wrong with my windshield; side trim with screws, which were loose, big gaps in the top trim due to windshield sagging down, rust in scratches under the adhesive. Rust was not bad and...
