Looking at the diagrams on partsouq.com, those springs are likely part of the seat bottom frame. You can get springs aftermarket, No Sag Spring #8,#9,#11 -...
To close the loop on this, I dug into the pump today and my problem was NOT the Delphi pump, rather an install error on my part. Apparently the "longer" bit of hose I used was not quite long enough or I had if clamped too high and the pump had leaned over in the assembly. The outlet of the...
I went with a Delphi fuel pump after reading this thread and wanted to follow up with my experience. My original pump went out in March of this year at about 237K. I replaced it with a Delphi unit from Amazon, and used the Denso strainer mentioned by richg above. As he noted, it fits fine...
X2. Unless you need additional dampening for heavy aftermarket accessories just go with OEM shocks from the dealer. My '04 had bilsteins on it when I bought it. One of the rears broke shortly after and I went with OEM all around. No complaints, I'd do it again. They work fine with mild...
It will continue to leak. Mine was leaking most of the winter, but never dripped on the carpet. I could smell it and there was a haze on the interior of the windows. Finally broke down and replaced the heater core. $392 USD for the Toyota part, and 12-14 hours of my labor over two days to...
How is the body just in front of the passenger rear tire? I'm looking for a section of the rocker panel and wheel arch. It would need to be cut out. TIA
Welcome and good looking LC! Same year and color as mine.
For the door locks (as well as other things) pick up a copy of techstream software and OBD to USB cable off amazon or ebay. You can can use that to change the auto door lock settings.
Pretty clear to all by now, but 100% scam. I got the same basic response to an add for a rediculously low priced camper earlier this year. Husband passed away, she's in the military, just deployed, transfer and delivery through ebay, delivery in 3 days......etc.
I changed from a 275/65R18 (32.09" dia) to 275/70R18 (33.19" dia) last time I got tires (same tire - Nitto Terra Grappler G2). I saw about a .75mpg decrease in fuel economy after correcting for the increased tire size (~14mpg average to just over ~13mpg average). My difference in size is about...
The inner seal and bearing can still fully seat against the spindle regardless of how the inner bearing seats into the race. My bet is that the issue is changing the bearings and not the races. Don't know if a good way to remove the inner seal without damaging it. If it were me, I'd get a new...
Seems there are mixed opinions on here about CVJ. I went with a reman rack from them on my '04, installed in 8/2020, ~23k miles and no issues so far.
edit: If I had to do it over, for the price of the CJV rack, I would have spent the extra for new OEM. I plan on driving this thing for as long...
It's ATP AT-205. ATP Automotive AT-205 Re-Seal - https://atpautomotive.com/re-seal
Edit - Disregard, I see you noted it's out of stock. I think I've found it locally at parts stores in the past.
Those look like they mount to the factory running board mounts on the body, not really a rock slider so much as a replacement running board. If you ever plan on using them on rocks, spend the money to get a set that mount to the frame.
🤤 Damn, those look sweet! I'm hoping the coating you're talking about is just protection of some sort. That color is bad @ss against a white hundy, I wouldn't change a thing.
