If I'm not mistaken, the '93-'94 FZJ's use a volumetric air flow (VAF) meter, with an air door. The '95-'97's use a Mass Air Flow (MAF) meter, with a hot wire. I have heard that some of the trucks on the edge of the change don't follow the pattern.
