So I decided to do things the hard way for my Hilux build. Picked up a 95 JDM Hilux LN107 fire truck off BaT mainly bc of the low miles (6k) and no rust. And it was local. The drivetrain truly is solid, feels tight. Issue is the bed. I've been able to find a rough one in Dubai which would be a...
Yeah thats why I asked. Good to know. Thanks. The names are weird but they know their parts and they speak english. oh well, back to the drawing board...
i'm still in the prelim stages. There are a few of them. Don't seem new, lots of followers if that means anything. Have a good supply of 70 and 80 series parts mainly. I still need to do a video call with them to look at the part since its a big one, the bed of a Hilux. Not sure where they are...
Looking for parts for a Hilux actually but from a cruiser dealer over IG. Its a larger purchase for body panels so a little hesitant. Don't know if I'll be able to find the part locally. Other options are much more expensive like importing a donor vehicle or traveling myself to the middle east...
Honestly not sure. I have a '95 US market 80 with the body colored plastic fender flares. I do have the front oem mud flaps so it would have to work with them. The ones in the above link seemed good.
now that IS creative!
Lets see how successful i am in getting a standard bed from overseas. as my wife says i like to make things as difficult as possible for myself.
Well its mine. I'll start with cutting off what I can and then see how it looks/works. If its horrible may have to decide between having a tray built for it locally or sourcing a bed from the middle east or similar location.
And yes if i repaint its going back to 045
Say someone were to get this, would any US spec Toyota pick truck bed fit this LN107 Hilux if the entire fire truck box/bed were to be removed? Or would sourcing a specific bed fom overseas be necessary? Asking for a friend..

I like the ARB side steps but don't want the fender rail connecting to the front bumper. Issue is if you don't use that the front of the step is sort of cut out and looks incomplete. Any other options out there? I know most use sliders I guess but don't really need them.
