Let me know what is a fair price for this guy. I'm moving to Chicago and don't have room for this bad boy. I'm thinking $5000, but if that's unreasonable (too low or too high) let me know and I'm open to something fair.
I put this for a sale a few years ago, but wasn't in a huge hurry. Since...
the slight gas fume is most likely from something that needs to be tightened in the engine compartment, I remember not having the right tool angeled tool for it so I had to get it from under the car up to the top using a bunch of extensions but can't remember what it was. If I had my book with...
Let me know what is a fair price for this guy. The community has been lovely. $7000
The Good:
-Interior is spiffy
-200K Miles
-You don't have to worry about the HG, it has been replaced!
-Replaced Catalytic Converter approx 10k miles ago
-Rebuilt Front Axle about 30k miles ago
-New Rotors and...
Definitely looking for some feedback on the posting as well, for instance if the price is fair. Also not sure if keeping the original post date is confusing people
I am going from Cincinnati to San Francisco and taking my FZJ-80. If you need something moved let me know down below and we can discuss. I plan on leaving at the end of December.
Oh yes, the SAGA continues. This is the same vehicle I was selling before with a blown HG. My plan was to fly back to Cincy, fix the HG, and drive it back to Cali. I fixed the HG but didn't drive it back to Cali for multiple reasons (mainly being convinced it doesn't make economic sense to do...
No clue. That's why I posted it here :)
Never know if someone has the opportunity to go from Cali to Ohio but nothing to actually get there. If they had something to offset the cost to get there perhaps the whole trip become worthwhile even if an individual leg isn't. Who knows!? :)
Via Trailer or Via Driver!
I am trying to find a way to move this guy. Right now it will cost me around $800 but at that rate I wonder if I should just sell it there and buy one here in Norcal. At the same time I JUST successfully replaced the HG and don't want to get rid of it.
I am not...
I thought I wanted to get a little car to replace the land cruiser, I think I just didn't want to fix the thing because it was cold. Now that I have fixed it I want to get rid of my corolla lease. Either I can buy it and sell it to you, or you can take over my lease which is currently...
Does anyone know the length of the water bypass outlet bolt by chance? I have mixed up some bolts (or lost them) and am trying to button it back up.
Much Appreciated.
Just to clarify. The notches should match when it has attached o the helical gear on the camshaft. Not just when you push it in. Meaning the end installed result is with the notches matching? I notice the rotating and want to make sure.
Ugh, Now I am confused.
Should I put the bolt back on the timing chain gear and then get it in the proper position so that I find the hole with the threads or do I just move the camshaft (with the timing chain gear off) until I find the exhaust gear with the threads?
