Hey all, tried the search option but nothing seems to pop up for remove catalytic converters. I have my 95 LC DD for around town and out in the desert hills almost daily. Can take my dogs running and exploring. Anyways, we have no emissions testing where I live and have thought about...
I finally got the entire caliper off and using a c-clamp for the outside pistons and holding them in place with the old pads and then slightly opening the bleed valve and c-clamp the old brake onto the inside piston/s it went back in (even pressure helped). Good grief. :bang: No more squeak...
I'm changing the front brakes on my 1995 Landcruiser, did the passenger side no problem. Driver side i can't get the calipers to get pushed back in on the inside bottom left? On the outside, both go in nicely for the pads to get put in, on the inside the top recedes good but the bottom wont...
I may be mistaken I've been wrong before, but I'm pretty sure the weatherstripping was only the weatherstripping. However i may be thinking about the door panel clips. Not sure, sorry if i'm no help. If you get the clips with the strip, great.
Who knows how old the battery was. Couldn’t find a date. Weird how it just dies after driving it this am. So Battery changed and cleaned all the terminals for a good connection and fired right up 😀. Thanks for all the replies 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Love this forum.
So I started the car and disconnected the positive cable and the car kept running. So a YouTube video said if I do this and the car runs it’s a battery. If it stalled it would have been the alternator. Going for a battery now.
Need to learn to check the alternator as well. Seems like it should keep battery charged unless battery is so old it won’t keep charge I’m guessing. I’m Still learning electrical
I had disconnected the positive before I left for class. So just Jumped the LC and this is what dash shows. VM shows 12.56. And rechecked 5 minutes later at 12.3 v. Engine is sputtering and volts with engine off is 12.3 Gonna get a new battery and clean all the terminals.
Have a 95 landcruiser and it s been running great. Drive it first thing this am and no problems. Just went leave and all electrics came on but won’t even even click to turn over….grrrrrr. Nothing. Have to leave right now and when I get back plan on checking all the fuses. Checked the...
I don’t know which it may be. Hard to see when under the vehicle. However your advice gives me something to ask about to get it re-checked. Thanks for your help!
I have a 1995 LC that has a small seep at the rear main seal. Again. I say again because I took it to the stealership last time for the same issue in 11/19. I don’t have the knowledge or capability to try myself. Anyways, I went back to the stealership and told the help desk guy and he said...
Thanks. I wrote them and told them what I had found and asked if they had softer shock that would fit since I don’t carry full loads. Just waiting on an answer. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
