Just talked to him while passing him during Cruisin' the Coast....it was dark at the mall when I said " nice 45". He laughed and said, "no it's a 75". I looked back at the front and in disbelief asked him where he got it. He said "Iraq". I told him " at least something good came from there! ":)...

I am selling a complete FJ62 aircleaner assembly with the Aussie carb adapter from SOR that I was going to install on my FJ60. The aircleaner is the round style and comes with the EGR, hoses, and clamps.

Were the trans/transer case full? Worth a check and even a fluid change as a cheap troubleshooting step.
My buddie's 82 fj60 howled too, but otherwise gave him no problems. He did put another tranny in it from a part-out, which solved the noise issue. Looks like a little work but a solid...
TTT...seem to be getting more calls wanting to buy this for a teenager's first car than anything else!!
I guess nothing is more comforting than buying a new driver something that can't got over 65mph and takes forever to get there!! :)
I've had a couple of offers of $2000 but none have decided to buy at my counter offer.
In the sense of time vs money, I will accept $2000 to the first taker! I really need the money to buy my next project, so I'd rather lose a little to gain alot.

Today, I bought a $22 bottle of R134 with the sealer/conditioner/oil/etc. I hooked it up to the truck and the compressor came on, sounded good (no rattling/clutch chattering), and it blew nice cold air! 20mins later, it was all gone, so there is a leak...
Well....it worked. Actually, when I bought it, it had a 134 retrofit on it. I added a can of the 134/oil/conditioner/sealer and the compressor worked and blew 40 degree air. It worked until it leaked down, and since it was not a ful-time driver, and mostly used for taking the kids to the beach...
