Those are beautiful.
Do you know where the original selling dealer was?
Were the swing away tire racks original to the car? My 63 was under the floor. -13034.
Yep - sold mine to a flipper. He convinced me he would be a good steward, after I owned it for 45 years. Flipped it in a couple of months.
Expect it to end up on BAT.
I made similar tranny and axle swaps on my '63, and they were worthwhile.
Dunno about the 2F engine, though. Not much you can do to them to get back the F engine power.
Do you have the rear sway bar?
Where is the spare tire holder, either under bed or at rear tailgate?
Where did you find that color? Why are all the screw heads and fixtures painted?
Do you have the original interior door handles?
Why is it undercoated?
Correct about the rear diff and the inside door handles.
I switched to the more modern latches (handle pointing down) because of a lot of wear on the latch mechanism, but I missed the up-pointing handlers. Much easier to open the door, since the older short cabs have you sitting more forward...
Now, there's a beautiful bed!
Curious - I see the swing away tire rack latch. Mine (3FJ45-13034) had the holes, but the spare was mounted under the bed on a drop-down rack.
Does yours have an under bed spare rack?
Mine also had a dealer- or port-installed rear HD bumper, and maybe it...
Here's an album I posted a few years back. I sold it to a flipper, unfortunately. He fooled me!

Also a list I made when I was selling my 45.
Yes. possible mistakes at the DMV in the past. That may be nearly impossible to correct without posting bond.
Does the VIN stamped on the right front frame horn match any numbers? The ID plate is easy to change.
I would get a VIN inspection from the appropriate local authority before finalizing...
My 63 FJ45 had lights and a generator. VIN 3FJ45-131034.
I changed to gauges before I went to alternator. I believe the first OE ammeter was +/- 50A, then later +/- 30A when the trucks were built with alternators.
I changed the sending unit for the temp when I went from light to gauge.
