Improving Off road capability in AHC equipped AHC

Previously owned a 2007 UJZ100 LC, with 2" lift, Dobinson springs/torsion bars, airbag man rear airbags for trailer, and Ironman Foam Cell Pro shock absorbers. Due to premature death (problem was between seat and steering wheel unfortunately), I parlayed the insurance cheque into a mint 2007...

Possible to put 2006 LX470 steering wheel on 2006 LC100?

Someone on LCool Australia reported successfully replacing an LC100 steering wheel with a Camry ACV40 (~2006-2011 years) wheel. Apparently even the clock spring was compatible, as was the airbag connection and cruise control. Unfortunately LCool has been down for a few months now and I can't...

100 Series Transmission and Suspension interchangeability.

A750F - either the $$ (but worth it) Toyota genuine WS transmission oil, or here in Oz Penrite makes a high quality compatible oil as well. In terms of recommended intervals for the A750F, my indie has suggested every 150,000 kms, however if you start ferreting further on this forum there's...

100 Series Transmission and Suspension interchangeability.

In Australia, the 100-series 1FZ was a 105 (ie FZJ105R), so solid front axle and coils as opposed to UZJ100R with independent front and torsion bars. Rear suspension components are pretty well the same, front completely different. The front axle also means different mounting points for the...

Well well well! A white (062 code?) LX470. In sunny Queensland  :) (Queenslanders are colloquially known as banana benders) Here's one with the ECB bar, I went for it as 35kg instead of the ~70kg ARB bar. (oh and welcome to the mud binney007)

Any Aussies who have replaced their NAV/Climate control with aftermarket options?

The T'eyes CC3 is made in China, however they have a rep (Dan) who's active with support and based here in Oz. As noted above, it works in LXs, with some hissing issues in some LCs. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lx470-2004-need-help-with-android-screen.1277592/page-19#post-14609336 Anyhoo...

WDYD What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Removed the roof rails and attached a Kings (essentially a re-badged Yakima) aluminium platform roof rack. Used a grinder cutting disc + Dremel to insert a gap in the black aluminium trim. I remember my 100 series had plastic inserts - the full length trim with the LX470 is a lot stronger and a...

    LX470 Subwoofer Replacement Recs?

It might fit, however at 2 ohms you're a chance of damaging the amp. The minimum recommended impedance for the ML system sub is 8 ohms.
