My mistake I thought you were trying to fix a problem where the lights were moving/blinking ... in that case the tech would need to be able to have it "misbehave" in front of him in order to repair and validate the repair..
It appears that you want the opposite, the lights should move because...
I would say they are correct for an '18 LC200 ... I don't believe they should automatically cycle at startup.
If it can't be duplicated then you have very little choice then wait until you can find a circumstance/situation that will cause it to happen 100% of the time. I doubt very much if the...
The US spec LC200 does not have AFS (adaptive front lighting system) so no button it is only the LX570 (or other models). The behavior you describe is very much like the way my Lexus GS350 with AFS "dips" the headlights on start up. I have never noticed my 200 do it but to be honest I would...
Under General settings in infotaiment select auto screen change to off that should hold to screen to your selected use I.e. audio or climate etc
The “blinking headlights” does sound like the auto leveling…. Is it lifted or heavily loaded?
BTW don’t expect the service advisors to know all the...
Big Mazda fan … Love the RX3, I keep dreaming I’ll find an SP for sale some day.
my old RX2 with a ported 13B
As it started out with weird stripes/vinyl roof sitting with a buddy’s 13B powered R100
Going through some old threads and thought I'd revive this one
I still have mine and it hasn't seen a trail in a while but I'm back in Colorado and that will change. Just put the lower low range gear set and part time kit in the transfer case.
At first it got the indoor spot while my new to...
I don't think you will be able to "reset" the issue by disconnecting the battery. I can't offer exact repair advice but based on your description of events and the symptoms I would wager a guess the issue is actually in the ABS system perhaps a damaged sensor or wire from your dip in the ice and...
HI guys, I really don't spend much time on MUD (or go wheeling) since I got to GA but I need to do some house cleaning. I have a pair of power tan leather front seat for an 80 series. I was going to swap the covers to grey and swap them for cloth in my 94 but just haven't gotten around to it...
Great thread idea
I still have mine. Since the original ROTW thread (linked in my sig)the rig has seen most of the planned upgrades (and a few unplanned ) and the thread is updated with the changes. It has been through Rubicon (best Rising Sun trip EVER), several Cruise Moab...
Don't hit the panic button quite yet.
A couple things;
1FZFE gasket failure will not "typically" (YMMV) draw anitifreeze into the combustion chamber and burn it but rather push combustion gas into the cooling system (hence the bubble test).
Also burning antifreeze has a distinct "sweet" smell...
Hi Guys,
Looks like a move the ATL area is in my future. I need to decide if the FZJ is coming with me or staying up here in CO.
How big a PITA is the e-testing in GA?
Is it a dyno test and do they restrict tire size (no bigger than 33" in CO)?
Anybody done it lately and happen know what...
I may have been too specific but (as CJF more clearly stated) the lights indicate low voltage and that usually means the belt broke or for some reason the alternator is weak/inoperative (meaning not enough output).
With your low idle the system thinks the alternator is not working correctly and...
We need a bit more info on the truck to help with the idle issue.. year, mileage etc.
The other issue is related, the electrical system is setup to illuminate all those lights to indicate the alternator is inop, in this case it is because of the low idle. That is why they go off when you rev the...
I don't feel the need to get particularly "innovative" with an 80 series because as Nay pointed out they work very well and it is hard to overcome the biggest shortcoming .. it's size. My truck works great for the way I use it (btw it has been through the Rubicon with it's arb and OME and at no...
I just re-read the thread and other than one person say he thinks "it's nuts" I don't see anybody call you an idiot so let me be the first .... You are an idiot to post on an internet website and think that you will get nothing but productive opinions. (and you call me a tard? whatever...
Drive around for the next couple days with the O/D off. While it isn't exactly the same as going to 4:88s it will give you an idea of what to expect in terms of highway RPM. If you can't live with it ... don't do it.
I ran 285s with 4:88 for several weeks and I didn't mind it BUT I have also...
Thx but I'm good to go with mine.
It is interesting the have a warning because a resistive load should be the simplest load for an inverter to handle since the load and the voltage are in phase. It is usually a large and steady draw but a 1200 watt toaster is a 1200 watt load so as along as...
There was a factory sub, but it is loooong gone (I have 2 in my Rear storage unit )
Never run a laptop, so far only a grinder and my crockpot, yum :D
That is 2 AWG, not really big enough to max that inverter. I plan to move the 1200w to my pop-up trailer and get a 700w instead.
