AHC Suspension Conversion (IronMan Foam Cell vs. OldManEmu)

Before you rip your AHC out have you done anything to diagnose the problem? you can check the health of your globes by doing a graduations check as the globes is what causes the dampening on AHC. I am suspect that your AHC has failed at 170k as I have 267k miles on my 06 and mines still...

Installing Redarc BCDC to charge LifeP04 in Trailer. 20A or 40A ? Can a OEM ‘06 Alternator support 40A?

I've done a fair amount of research and while I went with a different company for my dcdc charger, I think they work somewhat the same. To answer your question the BCDC charger will not interact with the charging of your starter battery. Its only function is taking the current from the...

Pic Request: Galactic Gray Mica Builds

Here’s an update to mine from an earlier post. Some meatier tires and bumper are just a few of the noticeable mods I’ve done recently.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Yep! I actually own quite a bit of Ironman stuff (bumper winch, awning, frame mounted recovery points, fans, kinetic recovery rope, soft shackles and awning room) I like it! For what it is it’s easy to setup no frills and simple awning. The poles are sturdy, fabric is good zippers and case are...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Nope No spacers and no lift. I get zero rubbing at full turn right or left. I still have functioning AHC. The only issue I had was stuffing it in the stock spare location. it wouldn’t fit aired up so o aired the spare tire down to around 10 psi and it fits without hitting the rear track bar.

Thank you! It was a little warm and quite a few bugs but was still a fun time!

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

This past Friday I put 275/70/18 STT Pro’s and less than 24 hours I was out using them in some slop. My first impression is I absolutely love these tires. Little hum at 35-40mph but ride much better and are much taller than my previous rubber bands I had on the truck.

Builds The YotaMD Build - Cypress

This might be something to look into. I have a noco jump starter for the starting battery if that gets drained so I dont need to worry about a switch for jump starting. as much as I want a fridge, i'd have to re-configure the sleeping situation (as my sleeping is inside my rig) so I'm going...

Thank you, I'll look more into squeezing two batteries in the stock location.

Builds The YotaMD Build - Cypress

This is what I'm very interested in. Do you have this second battery hooked up to the starting battery or are you only relying on Solar to keep it charged? If its hooked up to the starter how'd you run the wires and what sort of wires/parts did you use? I'd love to have a second battery but...

    COVID 19 PROJECT - Bed Platform + Drawer/Cubby Storage

I posted mine up above but a 2’x4’ precut piece of Baltic birch from Lowes and a piano hinge works perfect for this.

    How-To: TechStream In 5 Minutes

Thanks for this info. Is this the software you purchased? TIS Techstream Software V13.00.022 [Latest Version] if so, did you also buy the cable from them? Because I found this from them also: MINI-VCI J2534 OBD2 USB Interface for Toyota Firmware V1.4.1 Software V13.00.022 Thanks again for you...

    COVID 19 PROJECT - Bed Platform + Drawer/Cubby Storage

This is awesome! I love the design! I am no where near as skilled as you are so I bought a set of the KISS drawers Mk2 and added a fold over sleeping platform so it looks like this: I do like your hatch design! Very cool!

anyone have a different link for the cable? The Amazon link isn't able to find the cable posted in the original post, and I'd like to get this ordered so I can tune up my AHC. Thanks!

2001 Cruiser Overheating after heater Tee broke/repaired

I’ve seen some guys get a funnel system, run the radiator cap open with coolant in the funnel and have the front end of the car on an incline. That’s what I was thinking about when I mentioned burping. But maybe your method works.

2001 Cruiser Overheating after heater Tee broke/repaired

This might be silly but after you did the coolant work did you burp the system so there was no air left?

    Yet another tire question...

For sure! 90-95% time on road and the rest off road. Which is why I’m about 99% sure a MT isn’t for me yet. And why I’m leaning towards an AT.

That’s good to hear! Thank you!

    Yet another tire question...

Thank you for coming here to give a quick update! I believe the majority of my use with the truck will be on road, so I'm not sure I can justify MT atm. I believe these provide me with the right amount of performance for a good price. I'm looking for a tire that best fits my expected work...
