No issues. Haven't been off-road yet. They've done great on paved surfaces in this pnw monsoon.

Thanks guys. New water pump will be installed on Thursday. I'll also take the opportunity to finally install my new A/C belt :)

91 fj80 water dripping from behind water pump pulley

Not sure how useful this is. It was just barely leaking this morning, but you can see some fluid coming out of the weep hole. Maybe a better trained eye will see something i don't.

91 fj80 water dripping from behind water pump pulley

Strange because it seems to be intermittent, but in the most inconvenient of times my truck gets low on coolant/water and gets hot. Today when i got home it wasn't immediately dripping but i left it idling until it started up. The leak seems to be from behind the pulley that attaches to the...

    Weird intermittent power loss

Nope. Been living with it. I've had a crazy hectic year and not much time for projects. Honestly it's just an inconvenience since it never lasts longer than thirty seconds or so but I sure would like to get it sorted. Thinking up may try tps next.

Replacing window motor - do i have to remove the regulator?

Yeah i got lucky with that one. I had the window taped up which gave me some leeway so i could ease it down.

Replacing window motor - do i have to remove the regulator?

All done. Pretty easy. Glad i found summit cruisers post. On reinstall i started by connecting the bottom rail first, then the crossrail that bolts to the door about halfway up. Then i worked the motor back & forth until it was aligned vertically with the bolt holes, then pushed it over by...

Replacing window motor - do i have to remove the regulator?

Turns out the search button works just fine on this forum. Thanks Summit Cruisers: REMOVING REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY. In order to remove the regulator/motor you will need to lower the window almost all the way down where you can unbolt the window from the track. There are two 10mm bolts...

Replacing window motor - do i have to remove the regulator?

I've got the panel & weathershield off. I'm assuming i need to tape the window in the up position, then unbolt the entire regulator, remove it as a unit, replace motor and install or can i do it without removing the regulator?

Anyone know if these window motors are decent?

Thanks guys. Going to have to wait until next weekend. I may get one of my minions to video it for me, less so for educational purposes but to honor the time tested tradition of allowing others to point & laugh :)

Anyone know if these window motors are decent?

My driver window went out. It started where i could bang on the door and it would go up or down. Now i have to hold the switch and manually push or pull the thing up or down. I don't have $300 bucks to buy OEM. Anyone have experience with these? Interesting that they fit so many different...

    Bedlining my 91 FJ80

Fine fine fine! You've convinced me. I'm going 2 tone. Sans the stripe in the middle i think.

    Bedlining my 91 FJ80

I've got considerable clear coat peel on my doors, hood and fender flares. I've decided to do either Al's or Monstaliner in black and tan on top of my dark red. Here's my attempt at sorting out what colors go where. As you can see, my clear coat is peeling pretty far down on the door panels...

    Weird intermittent power loss

Ran fine all the way to work today. In the last 100 miles i've only had a couple hiccups, none worse than the video posted above. If i had gotten a bad tank of gas would it take a few tankfuls to flush it out? It does seem to have gotten better since the new fuel filter.

    Weird intermittent power loss

So after changing the fuel filter, cap, rotor, and inspecting the fuel sock it's run perfectly for about 100 miles of city driving. Last night i started her up to go home from work and it started to stumble. I fired up the camera phone asap. Not sure how helpful this will be but here it is...
