couple things on my mind,
didnt i give you my tailgate? i have the brass gear kit installed.
and the emergency brake handle didnt interfere with the a/c in mine. i had the factory...
re-arching works well in some cases, but for a 3-4" lift you really want new, longer leafs,,,, ALCAN spring has gotten the 55 thing down pretty well, to a point that you can simply give them a call, tell them the lift and weight you want and done.
there are a few ways to do dual axle springs, thats one of them and very common, no worries unless you question the craftsmanship.
to the "live" axle,,, its been done before but it takes money and someone who knows what they're doing to take your money.
the real reason is because thats what everyone else does,,, the reason it all started was to run longer shocks, longer shocks for more travel (droop). if your not interested in that keep the stock towers.
for air tanks you can score some great sizes at truck salvage yard. thats where i got mine. its about 3 gal and mounted alot like Twrecks. used to run a york but since the diesel swap its running a scanden rotary. puts out the same air, or close enough i cant tell. use it for everything, even...

radiator shop can recore if the tanks are good, also a 70's dodge duster? radiator is almost completely bolt-in.
