found a spare piece of masonite and replaced the cardboard i put here to keep it protected while working on the truck.

those green brillo pads and a bunch of elbow grease and simple green ought to do it? then mix two part epoxy and apply one coat?
or should i get in there with spray bottle or something else...
you can see the washer under the head of the bolt in some cases and it goes under the nut in others. the other way to think of this is you want to undo on the /washer/ side because the other side is going to have the raised locking area.
