You will need to drop the swaybar, so yes you need to retain the KDSS pistons. You will also need to remove the P/S pulley. I did this in my driveway, but needed my entire cussword vocabulary to complete it. What should be a 30 min job is frustratingly complex. It's easiest to remove the...
I'm running them in that size on T4R forged Rock Warrior wheels with an Ironman stage 3 foam cell pro lift w/arms. It rubs at the back of the front wheel wells. I love the tires but it's all about wheel offset.
I redid the foam surround but no joy, I'm guessing the voice coil is shot. I'd be more than happy to buy a 4ohm version but I have yet to find one that fits - any suggestions as in a model number of a woofer that fits?
Thanks in advance!
I previously tuned a 17 Taco manual transmission with OV Tune. I was actually a beta tester for the m/t. I can't say enough good things about them. If they develop a tune for the 4.7 I will buy it!
Have about 10K life left. Perfect if you are not real sure what tires you want with your new lift! $100 obo, not shipping. Located in South Tampa near MacDill AFB. I'll try to post pics from home later, there is also a corresponding Craigslist post w/ photos now.
FWIW, I replaced the front 6x9's with Audiofrogs, the rear 5 1/4 with Hertz, the barn door 3" with front doorcard 3.5"s and could not be happpier with the sound. It is really very well balanced and nicely staged. If the amp is repairable you may want to consider it.
So far so good with mine. Sometimes it takes me a while to get carplay running. I did tell my phone to forget the factory BT connection and it seems to be more consistent now. I need to figure out how to add more apps, but so far its a huge improvement. Recommend the white screen on carplay...
Did the ¼" spacer go on top of the hat, or did you have to disassemble the strut? I have the identical lean with Stage 3 FCP. It is actually mush better than the lean I had before, which was more like 1.5-1.75in
Interesting! At 297k and 14 years of life in Michigan, I would have thought there would be much more pressing issues. My two cents: While it is out, look hard for any signs of bad HGs like external coolant or exhaust leaks from the block / head intersection. Look for inside-out rust in the...
I went straight for stage three FCP and I am happy with it - except I am still waiting on the panhard bar over a month later. USPS apparently lost it. I'm sure they will do a better job with ballots though.
As I said, 265/70-17 will fit. Not sure about your backspacing, but that will likely not be a big issue, it may require trimming if too aggressive. Really think you should determine your actual use and then work the best tire characteristics and size from there. On my own GX, I have way too...
