Unless you're planning on driving only desert sand dunes, icons ride like garbage compared to other options.
I haven't tried Kings but the absolute best setup I've ever tried on a 200 was a Tundra swap with tundra length BP-51s. They seem to have fixed some of the seal issues they had early on...
Also, if you've ever seen Big Mike's Tacoma (Marlin Crawlers), he has specifically avoided SAS on this thing and tried to make it the most capable IFS truck. I've seen this thing in person, and I don't see why anyone could argue it needs a solid axle front. He has it very well balanced...
Have you seen Kevin Berethelot's MegaLex? I could see someone doing something like this to a 200 before going with SAS. Now his is actually a GX470 body on a 2nd gen Tundra frame with a Tundra LT front end and multilink rear.
I welcome the idea of a torquey, more efficient TT-V6 with a 10-speed.
It'll be interesting how many parts are shared with the Tundra this next time around, especially since the Tundra and Tacoma are moving to a shared platform, so there might be more parts shared between the 2 than just the...
Here is a photo of the scratch to the right side rocker panel.
This is the worst scratch on the truck (driver side passenger door) .
Another smaller scratch on the same side.

Thanks for the interest F5Driver. I've been traveling for work and the truck is getting prepped for sale. Once it get it back I'll post some fresh interior pics.
That's correct. No need to "call it out", I'm not hiding anything. The previous owner wanted to sell quick so he priced it below value, which is why it only lasted about a day before he had a couple competing offers. I've had two people offer me more than that in the past year but I wasn't...
I'm the third owner. The owner of a dealer in San Diego drove it for about a year. The second owner bought it and did most of the modifications between 20 and 35K miles. It spend a summer in Utah but other than that it has lived in San Diego or Dallas most of its life.
UPDATE: SOLD
First of all, I KNOW I'm going to regret selling my dream vehicle. I bought this with the intention of keeping it forever like how my dad still has his 77 FJ-40, but life happens. Between having a 4th child on the way and starting a new business, I have no time for the kind of...
