Hello,

I'm hoping someone here has a solution for this issue:

Yesterday I replaced my vehicle's 7in headlights with a set of Trucklite 27270C LED headlights.

The truck is a standard H4 so no wiring modification was necessary to either the vehicle or the lights. Plug and play, they work as they should except for the High Beam Indicator.

The only real problem is I have two sets of lights set to fire when I turn on my high beams, a set of Rigid duallies and a set of KC 8in HIDs. None of them work when I turn on my high beams. Both of them worked with the halogen setup. Both have standard KC wiring harnesses.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? is it solveable? I figure the Trucklites draw too little current to fire both the high beam indicator and the aux light relays?

I appreciate any help!

Luis

no resistance on the trucklite to trigger the hi beam dash indicator and therefore the other lights you have attached to that circuit ..

Tapage, absolutely right. I had to look around and tinker a bit.

Apparently it's a common problem, and I solved it using a simple resistor as did pretty much everybody else. Simple, cheap, works a charm.

High beam indicator and aux lights working as they should.

In any case, thanks for your reply! I appreciate it.
