alternative 6 stack cd changer for the 2003 lx470 (1 Viewer)

has anyone replaced their 2003 lx 470 6 stack cd changer with another brand one ?

I replaced Subaru 6-CD changer/Cassette/Radio (2-DIN) stereo into a LN 106 Hilux and a Corolla. Mounting holes are identical because both toyota and Subaru stereo's are made by Panasonic/fujitsu-ten. You have to use subaru wire plug and re-route the wires to a toyota 10+6 wire plug adapter. Since the CD changer is bit big, the stereo will stick out about 6-10 mm.

For some reason Toyota 6-CD changers are garbage.

I should have specified that the charger is in the centre console of the lx470, in between the 2 front seats
