error messagge;external system is not connected (1 Viewer)

Asking for a friend; his cd player does not work everything else does work(radio navigation rear camera)

When trying to start the cd player is error message comes ?

Already checked other threads about this and checked the red 10 amp fuses also connectors in middle console but till now no joy

Any tips or tricks would be realy appriciated

Did it work before and just now stopped working?

Did he just purchase it?

Sometime it gets disconnected when someone plugs in a aftermarket device (to stream audio) behind the nav unit.

It maybe just a dead CD unit or a bad connection.

I actually have the exact same issue. I installed the USA Spec BT45-TOY a few months back, and have actually used my disc changer since then with no problems, today however it gives me the "external system is not connected"

I have no clue how it worked before and does not now, has anyone else had this issue?
