July Event (Change in Schedule)

All,

We will be pushing our Philanthropy Event back to August, and moving August's trail ride up to this month. Originally it was going to be another trip to the beach, but we've changed it.

If some of you are not familiar with the Brown Mountain Lights, I'll let you do your own research. This is the mountain where the "phenomenom" occurs, and I've heard July is a good time of the year to try and see it. It will also get us up in the mountains, where it COULD POTENTIALLY be cooler than at the beach!

Not much of a trail system, but in the efforts of our sport, if we make more visits, maybe it could influence some changes... All are Easy rated trails, but we're going to make this a good get together none-the-less.

I'd like to get a head count, as there are still some details to iron out, but I'd like to see how many we're looking at. Post up your intentions! And, I'll do some more looking around...

I've been wanting to take my 40 on the trails and these seem like the perfect ones for a novice like me with my stock rig to attempt. I can't make it that weekend but hope to make another event soon and bring the wife and kids.
